BIOGRAPHY
Few players have dominated the NRL like Hayne did in the last third of 2009 when he won six successive man of the match awards and inspired the Eels to a grand final appearance.

He also won the Dally M Medal, the first Eel to win the award since Peter Sterling in 1987, the Rugby League International Federation’s international player of the year award and the Brad Fittler Medal as NSW’s best in the ’09 Origin series.

Hayne also represented the Fiji Bati in the 2008 World Cup in four tests where he played an exiting brand of football. In their openeing clash with France he scored 2 tries for the Bati and had an average of four line breaks throughout Fiji's campaign.

In season 2010, Hayne is a front runner in the competition in runs/hit-ups, metres and kick retrurns and it is for these efforts that he is dubbed one of the game's most exiting players to watch.
