Eels New Wheels

What would you do if you won Powerball? Most of us would pay off our mortgage, travel the world or go shopping. Not Eels member Tammy Smith.

Tammy recently won Powerball when four out of five of her numbers came up. “At first I thought we had won the twenty-million, but I had number 42 and I needed number 45." Still, Tammy won enough money to buy her dream car. “I’ve been wanting this car for so many years and I’ve had so many ideas. I still can’t
believe I’m here looking at the finished product," she said.

Tammy picked up her new, limited-edition Parramatta Eels emblazoned Ford Falcon at Parramatta Stadium this afternoon. It was painted and then sent off to Advanced Airbrush in Penrith for it's unique touch. Tammy had the Eels emblem airbrushed onto the bonnet and a silhouette of Nathan Hindmarsh placed on the back door. “The electric blue lightning in the background is to represent the Electric Eels," she said.

Jarryd Hayne, Chris Sandow, Fui Fui Moi Moi and Nathan Smith were all on hand to see Tammy get behind the wheel of her car for the first time. “Wow, it’s good to see our fans are so committed", Hayne said. "Nathan Smith said it would be very easy to get comfortable behind the wheel of this vehicle."

Tammy recently renewed her Swarm membership for 2013. Being a fan for as long as she can remember and a Swarm Member for more than three years, Tammy is a true BLUE and GOLD advocate. She makes sure she's at all the home and away games and just loves the team.
