They weren't wearing red suits, black boots or white fluffy beards but Ben Smith, Reni Maitua and Tim Mannah did prove to be almost as popular as Santa on Tuesday at Westmead Children's Hospital.
The trio - armed with gift vouchers and movie tickets - played "Secret Santa" catching patients and their families off guard.
Muitua said "It was certainly something different, great to be able to surprise a few people that are finding things a little tough at the moment in the lead up to Christmas."
Community Manager Erica Fryar said, "Our club was happy to be involved in the NRL initiative. It's been such a success right across Australia and in New Zealand" she added.
While Tim Mannah showed off one of his many hidden talents on the keyboard Ben Smith stole the limelight, winning the hearts of many young Eels fans with his humour.
The Pirtek Parramatta Eels would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
