Parramatta stars Ben Smith, Kaysa Pritchard and Boyd Russell proved to be a titanic hit at a local junior Rugby League clinic for school kids held in Parramatta today.
The trio turned it on for youngsters, assisting them in fine tuning their Rugby League skills.
“It’s good for us to showcase our game and get the kids involved. Some of them hadn’t ever played before,” Smith said.
Game Development Officer Michael Basan was on hand making sure nobody cheated any of the drills.
“Today proved a real hit, seventy kids participated and the most encouraging part was many of them had already signed up to play our game this coming season. It’s also impressive to see the participation number on the increase, for instance here at the Titans we are seeing three to four new teams each season. Rugby League just keeps growing."
The kids finished off the day with a barbeque and they left the clinic with a Parra City Titans T-Shirt.
