Dyldam Parramatta Eels assistant coach Steve Murphy says he's confident the Blue and Gold can test the Sea Eagles tonight if they play a strong, enterprising brand of football at Pirtek Stadium.

Previewing the match-up thanks to Unibet, Murphy said it's another do-or-die game for the Eels as they fight to stay in contention for a finals berth.

“They’re at the top of the competition ladder for a reason,” Murphy said.

“They test you right across the park: both halves - Cherry-Evans, Foran - and Stewart at the back, they all play together so well.”

“We’ll need to be at our very best tonight to get a result.”

“Every game from this point in time is a must win, but results take care of themselves as long as we can do what we can control.”

“Our kicking game in the conditions will have to be very good and will hopefully get us into the contest, and from there if were completing our sets and throwing some enterprising football at them hopefully we can cause them some trouble.”

NRL kicks off at 7.45pm tonight at Pirtek Stadium, with gates opening at 5.15pm. It’s not too late to get your tickets and support the Blue and Gold at our last home game of the season!
