Dyldam Parramatta Eels hooker Nathan Peats has been ruled out of for the rest of the season with a neck injury.

Peats sustained a fracture to the C6 vertebra in his neck in last weekend’s game, with treatment to be confirmed after further scans and discussions with specialists.

Prop Tim Mannah left the field during the Eels clash with the Roosters in Round 23 with a knee injury, but is expected to return for the Blue and Gold against the Sea Eagles in Round 24, while centre Will Hopoate is also expected to return from a hamstring strain.

Second-rower David Gower left the field and was required to undergo a concussion test following the Round 23 game, but is also expected to return in Round 24.

Prop Junior Paulo suffered a facial injury sustained in a tackle in Round 23, but has been named to return in Round 24, while prop Peni Terepo was tested for concussion during Saturday night’s game but cleared to return.
