This year, the Dyldam Parramatta Eels have partnered with the NRL in launching the code’s Business Academy, which looks to provide university students with an invaluable learning experience during their study.
The Academy was established in 2015 to provide clubs with passionate and committed university students who can be a resource within their respective allotted clubs.
The Eels have partnered with two students from the University of Western Sydney, in Danny Egarchos and Dimitri Droulias.
The pair have worked closely with full-time Blue and Gold staff members from various departments since April 2015 gaining an overall view and exposure to different areas of the Eels organisation (membership, merchandise, community, etc).
Egarchos and Droulias have also continued to further their development through several meetings working closely with the NRL and the Rugby League Central.
