The Dyldam Parramatta Eels have finished on top of the Waiheke Pool at the Downer NRL Auckland Nines, after a 24-11 victory over the South Sydney Rabbitohs.

Reflecting on the game, Blue and Gold winger Semi Radradra was pleased with the win, saying the Blue and Gold would be ready to face anybody in the Finals.

"Pretty happy that the boys could get it done in the first game today. Everyone put in a big effort and we are now looking forward to the Quarter Finals."

"What ever team we come up against, we are ready to knock them off." Radradra added.

Radradra has crossed the white line two times thus far in the competition, but had plenty of praise for his fellow teammates.

"My tries have come off the back of the boys and the big forwards in the middle" Radradra said.

"We have a couple of young guys in the team, somebody like Bevan French. He has played really well, yesterday and today."

"Corey Norman is really good. He has played well the last two years and it's good to play alongside him." Radradra added.

And looking ahead to the year, Radradra gave some insight into the Norman and Foran combination.

"He has been doing a lot of work in the pre-season with the coaching staff. He is a main key for us at Parramatta and he should be shining this year." Radradra said.
