The Dyldam Parramatta Eels will tonight kick off their first trial game for the 2016 season, competing for the Royal Flying Doctor Service Cup.

The Eels will take on the Gold Coast Titans at 7.40pm at Anzac Oval, Alice Springs, with both teams bringing competitive squads to the Northern Territory.

The Royal Flying Doctor Service plays an enormous role in Central Australia, with the non-profit aeromedical service launching in the 1930s to provide first-class medical care for Australians living in regional communities.

The Eels are very proud to support the RFDS with the annual trial game first played in 2014, the start of Parramatta’s partnership with the Northern Territory.

Thanks to Gary Higgins, Minister for Sport and Recreation for supporting the club's launch of the RFDS Cup in 2016.
