An update on the Dyldam Parramatta Eels squad heading into the Round 16 NRL Telstra Premiership bye. 

Hooker Kaysa Pritchard has undergone scans and been cleared of any serious injury to his shoulder following the Eels’ Round 15 win, and will be available for selection for the Blue and Gold’s Round 17 match against the Cronulla Sharks.

Vai Toutai will miss approximately 6 weeks of competition after picking up a medial ligament injury in Round 15. 

Club Captain Tim Mannah is expected to return to the field from a fractured shoulder blade in Round 17 when the Blue and Gold take on the Sharks, while centre Brad Takairangi is expected to make his return from a hamstring strain in Round 18 of the NRL Telstra Premiership. 

Mitch Cornish remains sidelined with a MCL injury (Round 20), Kelepi Tanginoa continues his rehabilitation from syndesmosis of the ankle (Round 20-22), and winger Bureta Faraimo made his return to the field in Round 15 following a fractured eye socket.

Centre John Folau will miss another 6-7 weeks of competition with a fractured wrist.

Kieran Foran (shoulder) and Luke Kelly (ACL) remain sidelined for the remainder of the 2016 season.
