The Parramatta Eels are proud to be associated with the Wentworthville Magpies in the VB NSW Cup.
Wentworthville and the Eels entered into a joint venture prior to the start of the 2008 season, with all Eels players not selected to play NRL or Holden Cup available to suit up for the Magpies in the NSW Cup.
The first year of the association between the two clubs netted a Premiership, with Wentworthville defeating Newtown 12-8 in the Grand Final at ANZ Stadium.
And in the lead up to the 2015 season, the Eels and the Wentworthville Magpies agreed to extend the partnership for at least another two years, through to the end of 2016.
During past seasons, a host of Eels NRL and Holden Cup players has pulled the famous black and white jersey of the Wenty club.
