    The Parramatta Eels are preparing to take on the Melbourne Storm in the Qualifying Final at AAMI Park this Saturday 9 September. The Eels have a relatively young squad for clash, with many players never experiencing Finals football, and winger Kirisome Auva’a is calling on his past experiences to guide the Blue & Gold into the pointy end of the year.

    The Parramatta Eels last featured in the Finals series against the Melbourne Storm in the 2009 Grand Final, going down to their opposition that day. A young Mitch Moses was there in the crowd that day, cheering on the Blue & Gold, and it is ironic that the young halfback will now steer around the team he supported growing up, in their first return to the Finals arena since that year.
