The Wentworthville Magpies
The Pirtek Parramatta Eels are proud to be associated with the Wentworthville Magpies in the NSW Cup.
Wentworthville and the Eels entered into a joint venture prior to the start of the 2008 season, with all Eels players not selected to play NRL or Toyota Cup suiting up for the Magpies in the NSW Cup.
The first year of the association between the two clubs netted a Premiership, with Wentworthville defeating Newtown 12-8 in the Grand Final at ANZ Stadium.
During past seasons, such names as internationals Joe Galuvao, Eric Grothe Jr, and Krisnan Inu have all donned the famous black & white jersey of the Wenty club, along with a host of other regular NRL and Toyota Cup players from the Eels.
