After a tough 24-16 loss to a spirited North-Queensland Cowboys at ANZ Stadium on Saturday night, the 2017 Blue & Gold campaign has come to a close.
Despite this, we can hold our heads high after achieving our best season since 2009. We would like to take the time to thank our Members, as our team would not have achieved their on-field success this year without you.
However, our young Blue & Gold NYC side will still continue their season this weekend, after progressing straight through to Week Three of the Finals after defeating the Minor Premiers the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks in Week One, meeting our western rivals, the Penrith Panthers at Allianz Stadium in an elmination clash.
The clash is the second game of a triple header at Allianz Stadium, with the NRL clash between the Sydney Roosters and North-Queensland Cowboys at 7:40pm.
Make sure you get out to Allianz Stadium to support the young Eels NYC side!

Members Lounge '47 - Semi Final
During the second week of the Final Series, we held another successful Members event In Members Lounge ‘47.
On Saturday evening, Members enjoyed:
- SMS Prize Draw
- We had some ecstatic Members in Members Lounge ‘47 during half-time as we read out our SMS Prize Draw winners. For our semi-final edition, we had seven winners!
- Our seven lucky SMS Prize Draw winners received either a:
- A 70th Anniversary backpack with a Blue & Gold Ticket enclosed. The Blue & Gold Ticket entitled the winners to FREE 2018 Membership!
- A 70th Anniversary backpack with a Blue & Gold Finals T-shirt enclosed!

- Members who were in attendance on Saturday evening had the opportunity to meet a number of first-grade players, including Tepai Moeroa, Frank Pritchard, John Folau, George Jennings, Jeff Robson & Isaac De Gois. The boys dropped into Members Lounge 47 to greet Members and thank them for their support during the 2017 season. Thanks for stopping in guys!

- On Friday we were lucky enough to be entertained by Taga. Taga did a fantastic job in entertaining Members throughout the evening. Hopefully we will see Taga back in Members Lounge 47 in 2018!

- Members were able to watch BA and Tim in their post-match press conference on the big screen
- FREE Pre-Game Food Catering & Members-Only Bar Service
- Before our first-grade kick off, Members enjoyed a great variety of FREE food & Members-only bar service in Members Lounge ‘47. This was certainly a great way to kick off a fantastic night of Finals Footy!

- BGA Members who have been with us for over 10 years had the opportunity to find their name on our brand new Loyalty Banner. For those that didn’t have the chance to take a look at the banner, don’t worry! The NEW banner will be back in Members Lounge ’47 in 2018!
Blue & Gold Army Members have had access to Members Lounge ‘47 during every home game at ANZ Stadium in 2017 this season. We thank all of our Members that attended throughout the 2017 season and helped make Members Lounge ’47 truly special. We can’t wait to see you in Members Lounge ’47 in 2018.

August Member of the Month
The Parramatta Eels are proud to announce our Member of the Month for August, 2017 – Alanna Holmes.
Alanna has been described as a selfless and caring individual who constantly puts others before herself. With an incredible heart with a huge desire help, Alanna continually dedicates her time to help those in need and less fortunate whilst keeping on top of full-time University Studies.
Alana has spent countless hours on the road as she travel across the state to come see her mighty Eels play at ANZ Stadium. She is an individual who wholeheartedly lives by the Eels values of Integrity, Respect and Excellence in everything she does.
On behalf of the Parramatta Eels, we would like to thank Alanna for representing our Club as a Member. We are lucky to have fantastic Members like you. As our Member of the Month Alana will be presented with a signed jersey as well as watching the team warm up on field in 2018.
