With three back-to-back wins from the last three rounds, the Eels are building confidence, and Head Coach Brad Arthur hasn’t strayed much from the line-up that has done so well over the past month. But Arthur has welcomed forward Darcy Lussick back to the side after a four-week suspension for a high tackle on Jared Waerea-Hargreaves.

It means young forward Peni Terepo moves to NSW Cup, and shows just how fierce the contest for forward spots is at Parramatta.

Meanwhile the Wests Tigers are dealing with a shock blow, as their Captain and hooker Robbie Farah recovers from a dislocated elbow. Farah was in scintillating form as the Tigers defeated the North Queensland Cowboys in Round 6 at Campbelltown Sports Stadium, leaving Joel Luani to fill the number nine jersey.

Braith Anasta also returns to the Wests Tigers line-up, with his wealth of NRL experience sure to boost the young Tigers side.

But most of the build up to the Round 7 match has focussed on the two forward packs: the Wests Tigers have benefited from the efforts of Aaron Woods, Martin Taupau and James Gavet, and they haven’t been afraid to talk up their plans to target the Eels’ own Darcy Lussick.

Eels fans will be keeping their eye on the developing Blue and Gold halves combination of Corey Norman and Chris Sandow, as well as the potential dangers from young Luke Brooks in attack for Wests Tigers.

Having broken their “away hoodoo" in Brisbane in Round 5, Parramatta will be looking to ride on the strong support of the Blue and Gold Army and turn ANZ Stadium into another happy hunting ground for the Eels.
