The Dyldam Parramatta Eels NYC side has been defeated 24-10 by a classy Sea Eagles outfit at Pirtek Stadium on Friday night.

The Sea Eagles held the lion’s share of early possession, but it took more than 20 minutes for them to turn back to back sets into the first points of the match.

Centre Luke Garner found room to slip through the Blue and Gold defensive line for a four-pointer, and was swiftly followed by Michael Stig from a neat chip and chase.

Fou Tagilima answered back for the Eels late in the half, snatching a Sea Eagles cut out pass and going more than 80 metres to score, after being called up late to the game in place of centre Nathan Davis.

while ill-discipline from the Sea Eagles five-eighth, Will Pearsall, saw him sent for ten minutes in the sin bin with just 40 seconds to halftime.

Playing 13 on 12 the Blue and Gold looked threatening early after the break, sending John Folau over in the corner to keep in touch on the scoreboard, and tying up the game at 10-10 with a conversion from Zach Dockar-Clay.

Latrell Schaumkel went around the defence in the right corner to put the visitors back on top, and Liam Knight followed over the line from a Tom Trbojevic offload for an eight-point margin.

As the clock wound down, Luke Gosling grounded the ball just inside the touch line to give the Sea Eagles a comfortable 24-10 win over the home side.

Manly Warringah Sea Eagles - 24 (Garner, Stig, Schaumkel, Knight, Gosling. Garner: 2/5)

Dyldam Parramatta Eels - 10 (Tagilima, Folau. Dockar-Clay: 1/2)
