Dyldam Parramatta Eels duo Jarryd Hayne and Will Hopoate have been named in the Kangaroos train on squad ahead of this year's Four Nations tournament and the Prime Minister's XIII match against Papua New Guinea.

The fullback and centre were both part of the victorious New South Wales Blues side that brought home the 2014 State of Origin shield midway through the year. 

The final Kangaroos squad will for the Prime Minister's XIII will be announced on September 29, with the final squad for the Four Nations being locked in after the PM's XIII clash in Kokopo on Sunday October 12.

Additional names will be added to the train on squad as the Finals series progresses.
