The Parramatta Eels yesterday (Tuesday 13 December) shared a Christmas dinner with the families at the Ronald McDonald House, Westmead ahead of the festive season.

The Blue and Gold spent the afternoon at The Children's Hospital at Westmead before visiting the Ronald McDonald House to share some Christmas cheer with the patients and families at the home.

Check out some of the photos from the visit at Ronald McDonald House.

Ronald McDonald House at Westmead is a caring home away from home for families with seriously ill children receiving treatment at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead.

When families have to travel far from home to receive specialised medical care for their sick child, seeking accommodation in an unfamiliar place only adds to their stress and anxiety.

Though there is no place like home, Ronald McDonald House Westmead strives to provide a safe and comfortable environment where the whole family can stay together for the duration of their child’s treatment.
