The Parramatta Eels will play their second pre-season trial of 2017 this weekend, when they take on the Penrith Panthers at Pepper Stadium in the first ‘Battle of the West’ of 2017 ahead of the 2017 NRL Telstra Premiership.

After falling to the Gold Coast Titans in Alice Springs over the weekend, the Blue and Gold will be looking to bounce back over the men from the foot of the mountains.

There will be plenty of football for Blue & Gold Members and fans, with the Eels NRL, NYC and ISP Wentworthville Magpies taking part in three grades of action on the day!

11:30am – Penrith Panthers Harold Matthews vs Western Sydney Academy

1:00pm – Penrith Panthers SG Ball vs Western Sydney Academy

3:00pm – Penrith Panthers Holden Cup vs Parramatta Eels Holden Cup

5:00pm - Intrust Super Premiership vs Wentworthville Magpies

7:10pm – Penrith Panthers vs Parramatta Eels 

West gate opens at 10:30am. All other gates open 4pm.

The Eels pre-season trial against the Panthers will be hosted a day before the much anticipated annual 2017 Blue & Gold Army Festival and Bella Vista Farm on Sunday 19 February.

Members and fans will be given access to mingle with the Eels squad, autograph marquees, rides, food and drink, rugby league skills and drills nad more in a big day of activity!
