Fiji have named their 24-man squad for the upcoming Rugby League World Cup.

Parramatta Eels 2018 signing Kane Evans and under 20’s Salesi Faingaa have been confirmed for the squad with a total of 18 NRL players, Kane is set to join the Blue & Gold Army ahead of the 2018 season.

On Saturday the squad played the Battle of the Bati match, which ended in a 16-all draw. The team travelled to Fiji on Sunday to prepare for next weekends Tri-Series aginst Australia and Papua New Guinea.

For the first two matches the Bati squad will be based in Townsville, playing both games at Townsville Stadium, the first against USA on October 28 and Wales on Novemeber 5. Their third game will be against Italy on November 10 at Canberra Stadium.
