Terms and Conditions, Donate A Membership, Parramatta Eels

All members or persons seeking to donate a membership to the Parramatta Eels Foundation agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

1. Purchase of a Membership

1.1 Members may choose to donate a Parramatta Eels Membership (‘membership’) either online, over the phone or in person.

1.2 After submitting an application for membership(s) and payment of the Membership Fee the Club will issue you an Order Confirmation via email once the membership has been processed. This may take up to 72 hours to be received. You must have a valid email address attached to your membership account to receive your Order Confirmation.

1.3 Memberships are non-refundable after payment has been made.

1.4 The money used to purchase the Membership will only be used by the Eels Membership team in co-operation with the Eels Foundation to purchase a junior Membership.

1.5 The money used to purchase the Membership will not under any circumstances be used outside of the Donate a Membership terms and conditions.

2. Selection of Recipient

2.1 The Eels Foundation reserve the full right to select the recipient of the donated Membership.

2.2 The recipient will be selected from the Eels Foundation’s, Community and Social Programs Pillar.

2.3 Best efforts will be made for the Member or persons who donated a Membership to learn who receives the Membership.

2.4 Ultimately, notification on who receives the Membership is subjected to the approval of the recipient.

3. Prices

3.1 All prices advertised on this site or flyers are inclusive of GST unless otherwise stated.

4. Payment

4.1 Upfront/Full Payment: Members must pay in full via VISA, MasterCard or American Express at the time of application.

4.2 Charges against credit cards will appear on your statements as ‘Parramatta Eels National Rugby League Club Pty Ltd’.

4.3 If a credit card payment is declined by your bank you will be contacted for an alternate form of payment. Any fees levied to you for a failed payment by your financial institution will be payable by you.

5. Membership Classification and Age Restrictions:

5.1 Recipients of the membership(s) that are donated to the Eels Foundation will be under the age of 18 and classified as a junior.

5.2 Membership pack inclusions are dependent on if recipient is 12 year or older or if they are under 12 years of age.

6. Members Bound by Terms and Conditions

6.1 Regardless of how the membership is purchased, it is a condition of membership that all Members agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions of Membership with the Parramatta Eels.

7. Members Personal Details for Communication

7.1 All Members must take responsibility for updating their personal details so the Parramatta Eels can communicate with them effectively.

7.2 The Parramatta Eels hold no responsibility for a member’s failure to update their personal details. To update your personal details please login to your Parramatta Eels membership account.

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1 The products and services offered in any sponsor promotional material are not offered by the Parramatta Eels. The Parramatta Eels do not accept liability for any product or service referred to in such material, and to the fullest extent permissible by law excludes all liability with respect to these products and services.

9. Members Bound by Terms and Conditions

9.1 Any user of the Member’s membership rights is also bound by the Terms and Conditions of membership, and the Member is obliged to inform such persons of these Terms and Conditions.

10. Delivery of Membership Packs

10.1 Dispatch of Membership packs will commence after payment has been confirmed. Membership packs will be posted directly from the Eels to the appropriate foundation.

11. Right to Amend Terms and Conditions

11.1 The Parramatta Eels reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions as may be reasonably necessary from time to time in its absolute discretion.

12. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

12.1 By donating Membership, I acknowledge that I accept the above Terms and Conditions. All Members are bound by these Terms and Conditions regardless of how the application was submitted.

13. Parramatta Eels

13.1 Parramatta Eels means Parramatta Eels National Rugby League Club Pty Ltd or any of its related entities and includes ‘the Club’ where the context implies.

+ The term life and lifetime refers to the period for which the Parramatta Eels are granted to compete on the National Rugby League competition and have a home venue at which to play.
