Biography

A product of Gerringong NSW, Michael Cronin burst onto the scene when he was first selected to represent Australia after playing for the Country in 1973.
Michael joined Parramatta in 1977 and played in the Grand Final team against St George and was named the Rothmans Medal winner in his first season of Sydney football.
In 1978, he broke numerous records and scored a massive 547 points in 52 matches that year (including representative games).
Michael Cronin played in the 1981, 1982, 1983 and 1986 premiership wins.
In 2002, Michael was inducted into the Legends of Parramatta Hall of Fame and was elevated to Champion of Parramatta status.
Upon his retirement, Michael coached the first grade side for four seasons from 1990-93.
