In the face of recent speculation, the Pirtek Parramatta Eels would like to declare their full support for Head of Physical Preparation & Performance Trent Elkin. Both Trent and the Pirtek Parramatta Eels welcome any formal investigations into this matter. Trents time with this club has been exemplary and we are confident it will remain that way for a long time to come.
The Parramatta Eels remain in full support of the stance the ARLC has taken with this matter and will co-operate in any way necessary to assist in ongoing ASADA and police investigations. As a club we believe all measures should be taken to eradicate the practice of P.E.D and illicit drug use in our game.
