Our Holden Cup skipper Kaysa Pritchard got the Parramatta Eels off to a solid start burrowing his way through the Titans defence in the 12th minute of play at Skilled Park. Mitchell Brasington had no troubles with the extras to set up an early six-nil lead.

Plenty of possession saw the Eels pressing the Titans line again, this time Sam Gorman exploited a gaping hole to hand the Eels a 10-nil buffer - 12-nil after Brasington again converted the try.

The Gold Coast responded with a 40/20 and went on the attack, it sparked their opening try compliments of Mitch Ardler - the centre sidestepping Parras defence and barging over. The Titans struggled to convert allowing the Eels a 12-4 lead at half time.

The Titans started the scoring in the second half with Kyle McConnell hitting the tryline in the corner, with the conversion, the Eels were back to a 12-10 scoreline.

But Mitchell Brasington was at in again, finding the line, but failing to convert his own four-pointer.

A late charge to the Eels saw Diamond Charlie score, and James Tuitahi bagged a double in the space of 15 minutes, the Eels storming home 32 points to 10 victors.

Eels 32 (James Tuitati 2, Diamond Charlie, Mitchell Brasington, Kaysa Pritchard, Sam Gorman tries; Brasington 4 goals)

Titans 10 (Mitch Ardler, Kyle McConnell tries; Kane Elgey goal)
