The Pirtek Parramatta Eels side has voiced their disappointment for Tim Mannah, who has suffered a leg injury and will likely miss a number of matches.

Our club captain was carried off the field clutching his leg in the 63rd minute, after being crunched in a tackle.

After the game, Ricky Stuart sad it could possibly be a fractured fibula, and Tim is undergoing scans today to determine the extent of the injury.

This morning, Mitch Allgood and Ryan Morgan spoke about how much of a loss Tim will be for the side.

"Tim has been our best player all year," Mitch said.

"You can't replace what he does for our team, so we're going to have to make do as best as possible."

Possum agrees, saying it's tough seeing him off the field.

"We're not really sure how bad it is, but it's not looking too good. I feel sorry for him."

Mitch says all the players hope he makes a speedy recovery.

"I sent Tim a text this morning and even his response was still in good spirits, so that shows the character he has."

"Hopefully [the scans] are good news and he can be back out there as soon as possible."
