Jacob Loko has spent some time with his junior club the All Saints Toongabbie Tigers, talking to the up-and-coming football stars.
Loko is the ambassador for the club, and says it's a privilege to be able to return to the club where he began his football career.
"It's good to see the smiles on their faces and for them to listen, and for me to give them a good word on how to make it in first grade," he said.
"It brings back a lot of memories about where I started from, so it's good to be here and get to know the younger generation coming up."
Ricky Stuart has named Jacob Loko to come off the bench in this Sunday's clash with the Rabbitohs, and he's expected to play in the forwards instead of his usual position in the centres.
"I'm excited to be back in the side, I've been looking forward to it," Loko said.
"I'm coming off the bench so it looks like I'll be put in the forwards, which is something I don't mind. As long as I'm playing, I appreciate Sticky chucking me back into the team."
After last week playing for Wenty due to disciplinary reasons, Loko says he's committed to his return to the NRL tier.
"I'm going to get back into the basics, which is what got me into first grade. All the basic things - training hard, working hard for your mate next to you."
This week's challenge is a tough one, with the Rabbitohs the favourites to win the premiership after 14 rounds.
"The biggest challenge is their forward pack. Playing against them that'll definitely work our team, but I'm hoping the boys swing together and work hard for each other."
