We caught up with Pirtek Parramatta Eels forward Darcy Lussick and winger Ken Sio following our match against South Sydney Rabbitohs.
Darcy says the team should feel pleased with the way they handled the wet conditions, even without comig away with the win.
"I know they had a few out but they're a class team, and they perform under any circumstances," he said.
"I thought we did a pretty good job - it was the worst conditions we've played in all year but in saying that, both sides had to play in the conditions."
Darcy played the most minutes he's had all year - and says he's seeing the improvement across the season.
"Every game I feel better, the last couple of weeks my form has been aright, there's still plenty to work on, and hopefully I can keep it up the next couple of weeks."
Ken Sio, who scored two tries including a 90 metre sprint, says he grabbed the ball and just ran.
"I was just hoping to get to the line and scoring the try for the boys," he said.
"That's all we're worried about now, playing for each other and that brotherhood."
"They've got the biggest pack in the comp, and we had to be tough, and I think we did that but the results didn't come away with it."
