The Pirtek Parramatta Eels have celebrated all things Junior League at ANZ Stadium for our match against the Rabbitohs, which was our official Junior League Appreciation Round for 2013.
Brodie Kennedy won our competition to run the team out - and he looked stoked to meet his favourite player, Fuifui Moimoi as well as the Eels club captain Tim Mannah.
Hundreds of our junior league players, parents and volunteers were given a lap of honour on the field of ANZ Stadium, with representatives from the majority of the Parramatta District junior clubs.
We also hosted a Read with a Mate session in conjunction with Parramatta City and Holroyd Councils, encouraging dads to read to their children to improve literacy.
The day was a huge success with thousands of families attending the game and taking part in our activities. From everyone here at the Parramatta Eels, we say a HUGE thanks to everyone who makes our junior league outstanding - we wouldn't be here without you.
