Pirtek Parramatta Eels Head Coach Ricky Stuart has joined the NSW Blues in camp in Brisbane to present Blues players with their jumpers ahead of Origin II.
Blues Coach Laurie Daley called on his old teammate and good mate Ricky Stuart to rejoin the team as they finalised their preparations for Game 2 in enemy territory.
"Ricky's got a good rapport with the players, so they'll certainly enjoy having him around," Daley told The Australian newspaper.
"He's someone who's been in and around the scene and he's a very proud and passionate New South Welshman. I thought it would be a nice touch if he came up and handed the jumpers out."
With Stuart at the helm of the Blues, families, friends and coaches were part of the jersey presentations, and it seems like Daley is keeping at least part of that tradition alive.
