Pirtek Parramatta Eels hooker Matt Keating admits it'll be tough going when they face the Manly Sea Eagles this Monday night at Brookvale Oval, with the home crowd advantage always strong.

"It's always a test going to Brookie, they call it the Fortress [for a reason]," Keats said.

"But over the last few years we've certainly given them a run for their money, so we're looking forward to it."

Despite the Manly side having a string of losses, Keats says the men in Blue and Gold are definitely capable of sniffing out a win.

"I think you can put it both ways - there's obviously a few weaknesses across their team, but if we can utilise that and put our best foot forward, you never know what can happen."

"They're a strong side across the park, you can't concentrate on just their big names, you've got to go through 1-17."

"We'll do plenty of video and training to utilise that."

Jarryd Hayne is back in the Eels side this week, and Matt says all the boys are glad to see him return.

"To have Jarryd back in the team is always a big bonus, just his status in general, his communication, his skills in attack and defence, it's a big bonus for us."
