We caught up with Pirtek Parramatta Eels players Ryan Morgan and Junior Paulo in the sheds after our 14-0 loss to the Canberra Raiders.
The boys said despite the result, they're pleased with their attitude in the tough conditions.
"We hung in there right to the end - it was just the silly mistakes and a couple of disallowed tries, that got it," Ryan said.
"Everyone's atttude was really good - we didn't let the cold get to us, we knew the conditions we were coming against, and the attitude showed in the game."
"The talk out there was good, that's what got us off the line, also the senior players leading us young ones," Junior added.
"It was tough, but we can't blame the conditions, all the boys put in their effort. It could've been a blown out score but everone put in and it turned out ok for us."
