To celebrate the heritage of the Pirtek Parramatta Eels and our 30th anniversary since the our third premiership in 1983, we would like to extend a warm welcome to all Parramatta fans to the first ever Back to Cumberland Day and to take part in our best dressed 80s competition!
To pay tribute to the spectacular 1983 season where your beloved Eels will be taking on their Grand Final opponents, the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles, the club will be celebrating all things 80s!
The three Eels fans who best represent the 1980s will be rewarded with some sensational prizes as judged by Eels staff at half-time during the main game!
Sterlo with his long blond locks? Tom Cruise in 'Top Gun'? Or even a Wham! shirt? As long as it represents the 1980s, we want to see it!
So slap on your leg-warmers, grow out your mullets and put on your aviators - were jumping in the Delorean with Doc Brown and travelling back to 1983 to celebrate the Eels' third premiership and the heritage of the mighty Parramatta Eels!
