Hi Dream Teamers,

I managed to make a pretty good score last week, even with a few of my players out with the bye - our trades are holding me in good stead for the remaining 7 matches for the season.

I'm up against the second top team in our league this week, so I've got my fingers crossed.

I'm making a couple more trades, with the aim of bringing in a solid outside back into my line-up. I've got some stand-out performers in other positions but I've been a bit lacking there, so hopefully this brings me into a new tier of performance.

OUT

Dean Whare ($267,500)

Justin O'Neill ($158,200)

They've been pretty solid for me, but I want someone with just a bit more quality - like an Origin player.

IN

Michael Jennings ($312,300)

Andrew Everingham ($113,100)

Jenko is such a solid performer and he's having a great season with the Roosters, as well as playing very well for the NSW Blues in State of Origin.

Everingham is quite cheap and although not scoring huge amounts of points, he's a solid player

So I'm bringing back into my starting 13 Johnathan Thurston, and putting Todd Carney back on my bench. It's a tough call to make, but when you've got three quality halves someone's going to have to still earn me points on the bench!

Jesse Bromwich is back in for Junior Paulo who will miss out on a bench spot this week too, with my main players back.

Ryan Hinchcliffe returns to lock with Neville Costigan moving to the bench, where he'll stay after scoring 47 points last week, his best performance of the season by a long shot.

Cameron Smith is back at captain, and Daly Cherry-Evans vice-captain because the Sea Eagles should really do a number on the Tigers this weekend.

All in all, I'm pretty happy with my team's performance, but they're going to need a blinder this week to get me to scrape into the top 8!

Until next week,

Burty
