Pirtek Parramatta Eels prop Mitch Allgood says he's excited to take on the Bulldogs at ANZ Stadium this Friday night, his first football game since being suspended a fortnight ago.
Mitch says he's raring to go.
"The last few weeks haven't been enjoyable with the training I've been doing, so I can't wait for Friday night's game," he said.
Mitch and a group of players from the Eels and Bulldogs visited The Children's Hospital at Westmead today, to promote the Bandaged Bear Cup.
"Seeing these kids and what they go through, it really does make you realise how good we've got it," he said.
"Even though we're not doing well on the footy field there are people a lot worse off than we are."
With a large media contingent at the Hospital, Mitch says it's nice to shed some light on the positive work NRL clubs do.
"It seems things like this get left in the dark and [the media] shines the light on the negative things, but every club does these sorts of things, it's a great thing rugby league does."
