This week we're taking a step back in time to 1983, as we celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Pirtek Parramatta Eels' victory over the Manly Sea Eagles.

Take a moment to think about everything that was glorious in the early '80s - Nintendos were just being invented, 'Thriller' was the LP everyone was talking about and the Australia II won the America's Cup, causing newly-elected Prime Minister Bob Hawke to utter his famous words about employers and bums.

This Saturday at Parramatta Stadium:

The first 1000 people through the gates will get retro '80s sweatbands, and we will be hosting a lap of honour with the 1983 legends from the Parramatta Eels and Manly Sea Eagles, as well as jumping castles, face painting and Triple M in the stadium precinct.

Kids and fans will be able to go onto the field after the game - so if you want to run out on Parramatta Stadium, this Saturday night is your chance.

We will be having a special 1980s performance from the Parramatta Eels cheerleaders, as well as our traditional flag-raising ceremony.

After the game, all the match-worn Eels 1983 premier's jerseys will be available for auction online!

This Saturday you can win a TV, camera or a $100 Eels merchandise voucher, just by dressing up in 1980s gear for the game! Click here to find out more information.

To honour former Parramatta Eels player, the late Graham Murray, we will be holding a moment's silence in his memory. Click here to read our tribute to Graham Murray.

Buy your tickets to our 'Return to Cumberland' game and join us as we remember 30 years since our 1983 premiership!
