Last Saturday, the Pirtek Parramatta Eels hosted a number of junior league teams on the field before the game and at half time - to celebrate our proverbial 'Return to Cumberland' festivities.

One of these teams was the Rouse Hill Rhinos Under 6s, which features a group of players with very recognisable surnames - Hindmarsh, Burt, Vella and Cayless.

Eddy Cayless, Lincoln Burt, Will Vella, Lachlan Vella and Buster Hindmarsh are all coached by Luke Burt, who says hanging out with the kids is a blast.

"I find it really fun, I get excited for the kids," Burty said.

"I don't do it to be competitive, I do it to have fun, and as long as they're having fun, that's the important thing."

Despite having a who's who of the Parramatta Eels watching on from the sidelines, Burty insists he never gets nervous having the responsibility of the team.

"It doesn't bother me having them on the sidelines watching, only because I know they can't do it!" he said.

"Mick gets too stressed out, and I know Hindy couldn't handle it either; but Cayless could give me a run for my money though"

The kids certainly looked to be enjoying their football, and the skills that come with their training - something the ever-modest Luke Burt says is all his doing.

"I have to say I'm a pretty great coach, they started the season out only winning a few games, but we had our best game last Saturday, we won 44-0," he said.

"They're pretty easy to train, you just promise them a game of bullrush after doing a few drills, and they knock it over pretty quickly!"
