Pirtek Parramatta Eels halfback Luke Kelly says the side is desperate for more wins to lift themselves off the bottom of the table for the 2013 season.
After a 26-22 victory over the Wests Tigers last Friday night, the Eels travel to Brisbane this week to take on the Broncos.
"Friday night at Suncorp Stadium, they'll have a big crowd, and they're still in finals contention so they're desperate to win," he said.
"And we'd like to keep this [winning] feeling going, so we're desperate to win as well."
Kel says there's still plenty to play for, despite the Eels' position on the ladder.
"They're all tough games and they're desperate to make the finals and we're desperate to play for some pride," he said.
"Some of the results for us this year have been embarrassing, so we're both desperate on different levels which will make for a great game."
After playing alongside Jarryd Hayne in the halves, Kelly was impressed with his co-captain's return to the footy field after injury.
"Wherever Jarryd plays on the field he's going to have a good game, and especially after eight weeks on the sidelines, I thought he was unreal on Friday night."
"He's worked hard to get himself right, and right from the first minute, I thought he was pretty special."
