After a disappointing loss to the West Tigers in Round 22, the Holden Cup Pirtek Parramatta Eels side is becoming desperate for a win against the Brisbane Broncos this Friday night at Suncorp Stadium

Coach Andrew Webster has been drilling the boys this week, in order to prepare for the Brisbane side. Fresh from a win against St George Illawarra in Round 22, the Broncos stand as an immediate threat to the Eels, as they are currently sitting 8th on the ladder and would not want to lose their position.

The last time the two teams met in Round 9, the Eels came off second best on home soil. Looking to redeem themselves to the Blue and Gold Army, the boys are preparing for a touch match against the Broncos.

The Eels will be keeping an eye on prop Francis Molo, who contributed greatly to the Broncos win against the Dragons, along the successful conversion rate of halfback Duncan PaiaAua.

Kaysa Pritchard is ruled out indefinitely with an ankle tendon injury causing a shift in the starting line-up. Mitchell Brasington has been moved from fullback to five-eighth, making room for Corey Makelim as the starting Number 1.

Kick-off is at 5:15 pm.
