Pirtek Parramatta Eels centre Ryan Morgan says he's proud to have played 50 games in Blue and Gold, after reaching the milestone last round against the Brisbane Broncos.

Morgan reached the milestone of 50 NRL games alongside teammate Darcy Lussick.

"It's definitely an honour that I'll cherish my whole life," Morgan said.

"To get the 50 games is a bit surreal, actually. Growing up in the district, I never thought I'd actually get to play 50 games for the Parramatta Eels, so it's good."

'Possum' says he hopes it's the start of many more to come.

"I'm looking forward to another 50 more - I'd love that," he said.

"I'm looking forward to the next couple of years."

Looking ahead to next Sunday against the Storm, Ryan says they'll be a tough challenge.

"Melbourne are always strong, no matter where they are, but they're particularly tough down there at their home ground, so it'll be a tough game this week," he said.

Despite not being able to make the finals this season, Morgan says the side is still putting their best effort in.

"I think we're working on a bit of form, a bit of combinations, and putting our best foot forward for next year," he said.

"There are a fair few new boys coming in and I imagine nobody's position is really safe, so we've got to put our best foot forward to make sure we get in for next year."
