The Pirtek Parramatta Eels are putting up a strong fight for the remaining rounds of the 2013 Holden Cup season.

After coming back from an 18 point deficit in the first half of their match to beat the Melbourne Storm in Round 24, the Eels will be confident entering Parramatta Stadium this Monday against St George Illawarra Dragons.

With a 38-24 victory against the Storm, the boys are set on ending the season on a high, by locking in a few more wins to hopefully raise them from their current 13th position on the ladder.

The Dragons will also be entering the field with a self-assured attitude after defeating the West Tigers 34-16; however the team only sits one place higher than the Eels on the Holden Cup ladder.

The last time the two teams met in Round 10 Parramatta was the stronger side, defeating the St George side 34-20.

Eels Coach Andrew Webster is confident in his sides ability, with all eyes expected to be on young gun James Tuitahi, who locked in a hat-trick of tries against the Storm, greatly contributing to the Eels success.

Kick-off is at 4.45pm at Parramatta Stadium
