Pirtek Parramatta Eels prop Fuifui Moimoi says his two-try effort against the St George Illawarra Dragons on Monday night was about anything except Fuifui Moimoi.

The Steamtrain was in fine form at Parramatta Stadium, leaping to collect a cross-field bomb from Luke Kelly to score his first try of the night, and following it up with a barging effort over the try line to make it a double.

But the fan favourite was more less concerned with his out-of-character eight-point game and more focussed on giving a proper farewell to the Eels players moving on from the club at the end of the season.

"It felt good [to score the double] but better than that, we got a win," Moimoi said.

"It was the last game [at Parramatta Stadium] and a few of the boys are leaving the club so it was a game we're going to remember."

Moimoi also paid tribute to the dedicated crowd of 8,910 Blue and Gold Members and fans who turned out at Parramatta Stadium for the round 25 match-up.

"The fans have been 100% behind us this year, supporting us," Moimoi said.

"I give all the credit to the fans who turned up today, and it was a good win."
