One of the biggest honours of our Presentation Evening is awarding the Michael Cronin Clubman of the Year - which this year was presented to Denis Anderson.
Denis, or 'Big D' as he is known to everyone around the Eels, has worked with Parramatta for over 40 years in varying roles - famously as the king of the barbecue at team events!
We caught up with Big D at the Presentation Evening after surprising him with the award - which he was thrilled about.
"It's unbelievable - my heart's still pounding 100 miles an hour!" he said.
"It's probably one of the biggest thrills - meeting my wife, kids and grandkids, this is in a similar era".
"Hearing all the boys call out when my name was read out, I can't believe it!"
Denis says he's proud of his service to the Eels, and says he's got no intention of stopping any time soon.
"I've been involved with the club for over 44 years, and I've loved every single day," he said.
"There's not one day that I've been involved with the club that I haven't enjoyed it."
Big D joins names like Luke Burt, Michael Vella and Nathan Hindmarsh as winners of the prestigious award.
"It's such a great honour because of the people who have received the award, even earlier than that -Les Brooker, Dr McNamara - it's a thrill to be involved in that company."
