Today Parramatta Eels forward Mitchell Allgood has pleaded guilty to the charge of mid-range driving under the influence of alcohol.

The case has been adjourned until December 18.

Following a thorough internal investigation, Allgood has incurred a fine, the proceeds of which will be donated to the charity of his choice. He will also be expected to complete a driving offenders course.

Mitchell Allgood is an outstanding young man who is incredibly active in the community. He is extremely remorseful for his actions and understands the risk he not only placed upon himself but others.

As this remains a court matter, the club is unable to make any further comment at this stage.
