During their off-season break, Tim Mannah, Joseph Paulo, Mitch Allgood and Ben Smith have travelled to Cape Town, South Africa to do some community work and put some smiles on people's faces. Tim has decided to keep a travel diary with what he and the boys have been doing over there.

Day 4

Today started off with a 4:30am wake up - Squincey's goal was to dominate the mountains.

The mind-set was to get to the top of Lions Head Mountain before the sun rose at 6am - it was a tough trek, but we made it and it did not disappoint us!

Then from there we headed to Cape Town's famous Table Top Mountain - but this time we jumped on the cable cart (which was much easier).

It is one of the newest seven wonders of the world (and so are Ben Smiths biceps!). It was absolutely freezing so we only spent about 30 minutes up there.

The second half of the day consisted of a two and a half hour drive out to the coast, to a small fishing town where we decided it would be a good idea to jump in the water with sharks. Yep, sharks!

The sea-sickness got the better of Allgood, but for the rest of us, it was an experience we will never forget. We were only in the water for half an hour and saw six or seven sharks between eight and ten feet long.

George was pretty freaked out, and so was I!

Tomorrow is our last day here is South Africa and then we will be visiting two more projects. Can't wait!
