Despite never having played a World Cup match before, Italy has shocked England with a 15-14 upset in their warm-up match at Salford, just a week from the start of the tournament!


St Helens prop Anthony Laffranchi and Eels player Dean Parata scored for Italy, with Ray Nasso kicking a penalty goal to level the scores.


A drop goal from winger Josh Mantellato two minutes from full-time put the minnows in front to take the win!

Meantime the Kangaroos have held a tough physical session, as they don't have a warm-up match in the lead-up to Friday's first match against England.


And in some downtime, Jarryd Hayne and a few of the Kangaroos watched Manchester United's 1-1 draw with Southhampton at Old Trafford. Great video Haynesy!
