On 16 November, residents in the Hills area will be able to help support the children and their families of The Ronald McDonald House at Westmead, simply by getting a dental check up.
All staff at My Dental Team will be volunteering their time at the annual community fundraising event, with all proceeds from the day going straight to Ronald McDonald House Westmead.
All patients who have a check-up or dental work on this day will be contributing to the funds being raised for this worthy cause.
Dr Ramesh Sivabalan, Managing Director at My Dental Team said, We are pleased to be able to raise funds for Ronald McDonald House Westmead, whose work goes a long way in assisting the families of seriously ill children to get the love and support they need."
"Our goal is to raise enough funds to sponsor a room at Ronald McDonald House for one year, which will house approximately 36 families in 2014."

There will be food provided, plus face-painting and balloon art for the kids, and the opportunity to receive Gap Free dental check-ups that include x-rays, teeth cleaning and fluoride treatment.
There is no out-of-pocket expense for this check-up as it is covered by the patients health fund.
Ronald McDonald House Westmead provides a Home away from Home for seriously ill children and their families to stay while the child receives medical treatment at The Childrens Hospital at Westmead.
By staying at a Ronald McDonald House, families that are located 100 kilometres away or more are able to stay together and focus their attention on the health and recovery of their child.
Mike Thomas, Executive Officer of Ronald McDonald House Westmead said, We are grateful for the support of My Dental Team and their patients. Nearly 200 families were turned away at Ronald McDonald House Westmead last year due to a lack of funding to house them."
