Pat's Blue and Gold Man-Cave

Parramatta Eels fans are certainly passionate and loyal - traits Pat Coffey has in spades.

The life-long Blue and Gold supporter has taken his love for the team to a new level - decking out his man-cave with his extensive collection of Eels memorabilia!

Since moving up to the Central Coast 12 months ago, we bought a house that has a granny flat so we turned it into my Eels man-cave! Pat said.

So Ive got framed jerseys, painted skateboards, painted surfboards, loads and loads of signed photos of the boys, signed footballs, trading cards from the old days - and the list goes on!

The 41 year old, his wife and five kids have all signed up as Eels Members for 2014, and Pat says hes already feeling positive about the year.

Im pretty excited about the new coach, I think Brads going to do really well, he said.

Im pumped for Hoppa and Norman, I think theyre going to combine well with Haynesy - itll be a good year!

Pat says hes loved every year of being an Eels Member, and reckons anyone considering it should dive in, because theyll be rewarded.

I feel like Im part of the Blue and Gold family for sure! Im the most passionate Blue and Gold supporter youll ever meet, he said.

I remember way back to the 80s, as a mad Brett Kenny fan, watching his last game at Parramatta Stadium and I saw him the next mooring back at work delivering orange juice! I thought what a legend!

And Pats favourite pieces of memorabilia?

Going back to the 80s, probably a frame with the four premiership-winning teams, he said.

And the most recent edition would be an electric guitar that I bought and painted in Parramatta colours!
