The Dyldam Parramatta Eels are today congratulating one of our youngest ever Blue and Gold Members - with Lincoln Jai Webster signed up to our new Baby Membership option at just 23 hours old!
His chuffed father Brett says he couldnt wait to sign up his second son to be part of the Eels family.
My dad was a huge Eels fan, and I was fortunate to play in the club for the Eels in Harold Matts and SG Ball when I was younger, so signing up my family was all I ever wanted to do, he said.
Ive been a Member since 2007, but Ive been an Eels fan since I was born, and as far as Im concerned I bleed Blue and Gold!
Lincoln will join his older brother Isaac as a Parramatta Eels Member, with the three-and-a-half year old owning one of our new Toddler Membership options.
Isaac went to his first home game last year, and he loved it, so I think in the coming years both my boys will see plenty more, Brett said.
Its pretty cool to have one of the youngest Baby Eels.
Even though Lincoln might be too young to remember the 2014 season that will start his relationship with the Eels, its something very close to 32-year-old father Bretts heart.
To be honest, Membership is very important to me; supporting a club or a team teaches good faith, teaches you loyalty, and its something Im very passionate about, he said.
And of course its good to encourage kids into sport as well; I want to teach my sons that its important to support things, and my sons to grow up loving rugby league.
