The Dyldam Parramatta Eels congratulate SG Ball squad player Troy Dargan, who has been travelling around Europe with the NSWRL Under 16s Indigenous Young Achievers team!
Troy was selected into the side earlier in the year, with the group touring France, Spain and the United Kingdom, playing some friendly international matches against various representative sides.
The group arrived in Barcelona last weekend and enjoyed sight-seeing there before moving onto France, where they have played a number of games against local and representative sides such as Catalans and Carcassonne.
The players were also treated to watching the Rugby League World Cup game between Samoa and France, played at Stade Gilbert Brutus in Perpignan!
Troy was also selected to be part of a handful of boys who specially learned Aboriginal dances to perform wherever the team played, which is an extreme honour.
Congratulations Troy on your efforts, you and the team have been outstanding ambassadors of Indigenous culture and Australia while overseas!
