Kangaroos Head Coach Tim Sheens has named a 19-man squad for the semi-final against Fiji, with Greg Inglis replacing injured Billy Slater at fullback.

Brent Tate moves into the vacant centre position, edging our Josh Morris and Michael Jennings.

Dyldam Parramatta Eels co-captain Jarryd Hayne will stay as right centre, after scoring four tries in last weekends thumping of the USA Tomahawks.

Hayne certainly answered the question last week - the big thing for Jarryd this week is to back it up, and show that the decision was the correct one to give him that opportunity, Sheens said.

But he trained well again today and Im pretty comfortable that hell play well. Four tries isnt what Im after, just playing well and doing a good job for us.

Sheens says hes still toying with the final make-up of the team, after making some tweaks to prepare for Fiji.

Greg did a good job as fullback last time we played Fiji, and hes filled in for us as well, so although we have some great options there, hes the logical person to fill that position, he said.

I went to Brent Tate [to replace Inglis in the centres] mainly for experience, it was fairly hotly contested but thats the bonus of having a great squad.
